Planned out over a hundred acres in Telangana, an industrial park for furniture and home décor manufacturers is expected to attract investments from domestic, typically small and medium enterprises, as well as firms from China and South East Asia.
The project is estimated to be ready by mid 2017, offering a massive opportunity for trade in terms of import and export apart in this dry port.
With the aim to “house enterprises making products associated with home embellishments”, according to Principal Secretary to the Industries Department Arvind Kumar, companies into furnishings, decorative tiles, ceramics, electrical goods such as chandeliers, and a range of other products will be part of this park. The center is expected to help with job creation and national earnings through the export exercise.
Also glorified to host IKEA’s first store in India, Telangana seems to be the perfect strategic location to attract more investment.
