Joe Grand of the Grand Idea Studio has come up with a technology to add voice feature to product designs. The EMIC 2 Text to Speech Module can be connected to an Arduino board that can be connected via USB to a computer. Voice devices like Siri of Apple or the Amazon Echo are difficult to create due the complexities in the technological function of coding it. This device brings in 9 different voices at a fraction of the complexity. An Arduino provides for an easy to use platform to create interactive objects. When synced with an Arduino, it can provide customised output depending on the codes put in.
