Slovakian firm Nice Architects has developed a transportable, hotel-like comfort in a micro home made specifically for off-grid living. The home is self-sustainable and has solar panels as well as an integrated wind turbine for energy consumption needs. Called the ‘Ecocapsule’, the floor plan is compact yet not cramped. The design accommodates a bedroom, kitchen, dining area and a bathroom. The material had to undergo rigorous testing with seismic, fire and acoustic safety requirements to be approved.
