It Hubs To See A Decline In Housing Rentals

India's software and services hubs are expected to witness a 10-20 percent reduction in housing rents over the next three-quarters beginning July, as the IT sector experiences a slump. Tenants are seeking better options and no hike in the monthly outgo, quoting the adverse industry state. With better options, the market is tilting in favour of the tenants, especially those paying rent above Rs 50,000 per month. Going forward, the rentals may ease at least by 10-15 percent in Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad, while the decline may be steeper, up to 20 per cent in Pune, in the next three-quarters.

Tallest Tower In Los Angeles Officially Opened

America's tallest building west of the Mississippi River officially opened in Los Angeles. The Wilshire Grand Center is by AC Martin has a spire that takes its height to 1,099 feet (335 metres), overtaking the US Bank Tower by more than 80 feet (24 metres). The 73 storeys include retail and office spaces, and an Intercontinental hotel. It is situated at 00 Wilshire Boulevard. The US Bank Tower, which held the title since completed in 1989, recently opened a viewing deck and was fitted with an external glass slide 1,000 feet up.

Zaha Hadid Designed China Airport To Become The Largest Aviation Hub In The World

The ‘world’s largest airport passenger terminal’ designed by Zaha Hadid will complete the airport complex of Beijing. The new passenger terminal will serve China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines respectively and exclusively. This will double the flight capacity of the regular airport carriers capturing largely on the Europe and US slots for flights. The airport terminal is to face stiff competition in and out of the Chinese capital, which is set to open in 2019.

As the real estate costs rose, rental prices also got highly competitive. Mercer’s 23rd annual Cost of Living Survey finds that factors like the instability of housing markets, inflation for goods and services and foreign exchange fluctuations contribute to the overall cost of doing business in today’s global environment.

80,000 Nashik Properties To Be Brought Under Tax Schemes

Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has involved a New Delhi-based private firm in finding non-assessed properties and identifying a change in use, along with a revision of assessment value of properties. The property survey being carried out by the civic body for the first time since 1999 has identified 40,000 new properties so far and officials estimated that an equal number of properties could be added by the time the survey ends. The additional number of properties would be a boon for the cash-strapped municipal corporation. At present, NMC’s revenue from property tax is Rs 86 crore.

Only 72 Real Estate Projects In Maharashtra Are Rera Approved

From registering financial documents to adhering to the room dimensions, the checking points in place for RERA follow a long list of details that have to be checked thoroughly before submission. The authorities are expecting around 30 thousand projects or more to register by July.
