Hitachi Launches New Tx Series Escalator For India, Asia And The Middle East

Hitachi, Ltd. and Hitachi Building Systems Co., Ltd. today announced the launch of the new TX Series escalator for India, Asia and the Middle East. The escalator has already been released in China and will be released in stages across the remainder regions, commencing August 21, 2017. In July 2016, Hitachi integrated its escalator businesses of Japan and China, consolidating its resources and enhancing its business operations in both countries, centred around its key business location in Guangzhou, China. The new TX Series escalator launched by Hitachi is a model that meets multiple standards in China, India, Asia and the Middle East. The model follows the same concept for the machine room-less elevator for Asia and the Middle East which was launched in September 2016. In addition to conforming to Chinese safety and quality standards for escalator equipment, the TX Series will be manufactured in accordance with Hitachi’s own strict standards of safety and quality, adhering to safety standards in all other regions. The Last Scrapper Designed By Zaha Hadid Is To Be The World’s Highest

The Lize Financial Business district, a new hub in Beijing is a 46-storey mix of shops and offices. This was the last scrapper designed by Zaha Hadid before her death last year. The tower is a single volume divided in the centre with a 45 degree twisted central atrium to align with the east west axis for the higher floors.  The 190 metres central atrium connects the two halves of the building. The tower will achieve the title of the world’s highest building, once completed. This title is currently held by the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Zaha Hadid Architects is also currently working on the 185-metre tower in Melbourne and the proposed super tall tower at 666 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Cultural Centre Wins Award Of Merit At Enr’s Global Best Projects Awards

Kuwait’s Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Cultural Centre (JACC) has been recognised with the Award of Merit at ENR’s Global Best Projects Awards. The complex will be honoured at a gala ceremony on 23 October, at the Sheraton Hotel, Times Square, New York. Since its grand opening in November 2016, the complex has showcased performing arts, local performances and international acts. The facility is the centrepiece of a world-class theatre quarter set in spacious parkland. Complex geometric shapes, inspired by Islamic architecture, from the richly textured outer skin of the four buildings that make up JACC, which sit like jewels in a larger public park. Luxurious world-class buildings below the outer skin exude character, drama and a heightened sense of expectation. SSH was appointed as lead architecture and engineering designer on the complex. The ENR (Engineering News-Record) Global Best Projects Awards focus on the challenges, risks and rewards of designing and constructing in other countries.  

Aamby Valley To Receive Funding From Mauritius Based Fund

The Aamby Valley project was asked by the Indian Supreme Court to set the property up for auction to recover money from Sahara. When the matter was brought to court, the group dismissed the matter and asked for permission to get into partnership with the Mauritius based fund. Royale Partners has agreed to invest 1.67 billion in the project. The company owned by Dubai based RPMG Investment is registered in Mauritius as an investor in private equity, asset management among others.

Rera Registration: Haryana Builders Seek 3 Months Extension For Registration

After the completion of the deadline on July 31 for RERA registration ongoing projects, several projects are still to be registered yet. The Haryana based realtors are expecting an extension in the deadline for the registration of the remaining projects under H-RERA. They have come across, approaching 3 months of extension in the deadline to the government. Sources informed that till now only around 30 state projects have received the registration certificate, whereas over 400 applications were submitted during 28th to 31st July. Praveen Jain, president of National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), the apex body the Real Estate sector, said: “The government should extend the deadline by three months, as notification of rules was delayed by the same period,”. He said that the norms should be notified by May 1 itself but the final rule got notified on 28 July only with the three months delayed. He also added, “The UP government has extended the deadline for registration by 15 days, along with a plan to impose a minimum penalty for the first three months after that”.
