Proposals by ten international design teams have been shortlisted from above 100 entries for the London National Memorial to the Holocaust.
The proposed memorial is to be built in Westminster Victoria Tower Gardens, near the Parliament. The jury will interview each team and even consider public reactions before selecting and announcing a winner.
The short lists are as follows: John McAslan + Partners and MASS Design Group, Adjaye Associates and Ron Arad Associates, Allied Works and artist Robert Montgomery, Diamond Schmitt Architects and Martha Schwartz Partners, Lahdelma & Mahlamäki Architects and David Morley Architects, Studio Libeskind and Haptic Architects, Zaha Hadid Architects and Anish Kapoor, Heneghan Peng architects and Bruce Mau Design, Foster + Partners and Michael Rovner,and Caruso St. John with Rachel Whiteread.
