The Royal Architectural Institute Of canada announces Short List For 2017 Prize.

The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) announced its 2017 Moriyama RAIC International Prize shortlist of 8 House, Copenhagen, Denmark by Bjarke Ingels Group; Fuji Kindergarten, Tokyo, Japan by Tezuka Architects; Melbourne School of Design, Melbourne, Australia by John Wardle Architects and NADAAA; “The Village Architect”, Nova Scotia, Canada by MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects. The prize, introduced in 2014 is awarded every two years. The prize recognises architectural structures that are ‘transformative within its societal context’. It also recognises designs that promote human values like inclusiveness and social justice. This prize is open to all globally with no restrictions on nationality. The winning project will be granted CAD $100,000 prize.
